Why go to an Air Show?
A: Millions of spectators each year enjoy more than 400 airshows across the country. It is a fun day for the entire family to enjoy. Jets, aerobatic airplanes, R/C Modelers, kid zones. Ticket prices are low and that makes it affordable for all

Dates of the Show:
A: May 22-23, 2010 is the next Gathering of Warbirds – Madera Air Show 2010

Gates Open & Close:
A: Gates open at 9am and close at 5pm daily

Parking:
A: Parking is free and the main lot is right next to the Madera Municipal Airport. If handicapped parking is a necessity, volunteer parking directors will lead you to the lot designated for that purpose.

Ticket Pricing:
A: Adult tickets are only $10.00 / Kids ages 6-12 are only $5.00 / kids under the age of 6 are free when accompanied by a paying adult.

Performers Schedule:
A: Check the “Show Info” page for the tentative schedule. Please remember that the schedule can change without notice.

Smoking:
A: Smoking and jet fuel typically don’t react well together. Please NO smoking at the event.

Coolers/backpacks: A: No large coolers or large backpacks are allowed. You can carry in small coolers/backpacks to carry necessary items for babies/medications etc. Please note for security purposes all backpacks, purses etc are subject to search when entering the airport grounds.

Credit Cards:
A. We accept cash or credit cards for tickets.

Seating at the show:
A: The VIP flight line chalet has seating (paid admission to this area). General admission seating is on the grass or you may bring a small folding chair or blanket for yourself.

VIP Tickets:
A: Yes, VIP seating in the catered flight line chalet is available. Information is in the ticketing section of this website.

Are pets allowed?
A: Only certified service animals are allowed in the gates.

Are there First Aid services at the show?
A: There will be medical services available at the event. We will have a first aid booth as well as ambulance/fire services.

Recommended items to bring?
A: Strollers, portable chairs, cameras, sunscreen, ear plugs, blankets and handheld umbrellas

What not to bring?
A: Large Coolers, glass, weapons of any kind, tents, awnings, BBQ equipment, pets, cans

May I fly into the event in my own aircraft?
A: Yes...Please check all NOTAMS. All transient aircraft will be under the direct control of Madera Jet Center for parking assignments when handed off from our ground control. Check out Madera Jet Center for their information.

Temporary Tower will be in effect:
Friday/Saturday/Sunday from 0800-1800 Tower is on 127.9 & ground is on 121.05

What if it rains?
A: We have specifically ordered a NON-RAIN day! But, it would take a torrential downpour to stop the activities…a little rain won’t be an issue.
